ABOUT ME
I am a wife, mother, and an award winning beauty and consumer tech professional.
After earning my Bachelor's degree from Oakland University in 2005, I went on to build a 15 year career in corporate beauty with LaChae Cosmetics and Estee Lauder Companies, M.A.C Cosmetics.
In 2019, I started my beauty and brand development consultancy, Shay B. Beautiful LLC.
After a successful year supporting brands and creative service providers, SBB expanded to launch our first consumer tech brand, My Beauty Kit in 2020. My Beauty Kit went on to win first place in partnership with Tech Town Detroit’s Start-Up Tech Showcase.
I've had the pleasure of being acknowledged by several publications and online platforms for my contributions to the industry. Also, my work as a makeup artist can be seen in Ebony, Essence, Black Enterprise, Jet, Who's Who Magazine, at NFL half-time shows, on MTV and film.
In addition to managing my brands, I sit on the Board of Advisors for the Detroit Beauty Collective, Sanitation Conversation, and Oakland University's College of Arts & Sciences.
